Window vent kit designed to adapt the ModulAir hose adapter (https://makerworld.com/en/models/2342901-modulair-l-100mm-screw-on-hose-adapter-4#profileId-2561151) to a US Jeld-Win 34 inch windows (about 83mm). This window design is custom made to fit the Jeld-Win windows and may need customization to fit your window. Feel free to make your own design changes or DM me and I can help with a profile to fit your specific window.

This vent kit is water resistant as far as i have tested. I have kept it in place through multiple severe rain storms and winter snow. I have not had any leaks or excessive heat or cold related to the vent.  The integrated screen will keep out bugs and vent louvers will close to keep our weather.  You can additional weather stripping if you need.

Parts included:

- Windows vent (louvers and screen) with magnet inserts

- Vent to ModulAir adapter

- Small side window adapters with magnet inserts

- Large window adapters with magnet inserts

- TPU weather seal

- Optional adjustable spacer

You will need:

- (4) M3x12 flat head screws for attaching the adapter to the vent

- (2) M3x12 cap head screws for attaching the louver bracket to the vent

- (16) 20x5 magnets

Assembly:

- Lay the vent with the corrugated side down

- Insert the louvers into the right side of the vent, they are marked with ‘Top' and ‘Bottom'.  They only will fit one way and if not, they wont close all the way.

- Slide the vent bracket into the louver pegs and screw the 2 M3x12 cap head screws into the vent housing. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN

- Flip the vent over

- Place TPU seal, if used, onto the vent.

- Align the ModulAir adapter noting the ’T’ marked to match the ’T’ of the adapter. (so it doesn't interfere with a window ledge)

- Insert the 4 M3x12 flat head screws and attach to the vent housing DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN

- Press fit all magnets into the side of the adapters. I recommend that you put the north side into the right side of ALL parts and south side into the left side of ALL parts.  This is to keep them modular and allow for customizing of the spacers. You can glue them in place but they should be snug enough to stay in place.

- Once you have all part assembled, start by putting the small spacers on the left and right side of the window. They are marked with left ‘L' and right ‘R' on the parts.

- Place the larger adapters and the vent assemble in-between where you need them.

- Optional, if you made an optional sized spacer or still need to make one, place all the other parts in place and measure the exact space between two spacers and subtract 4mm from the total to allow space for the magnets and easy install.

- Attach the ModulAir vent system to the adapter and you are ready to go!

*** Here are the measurements I would need for other window sizes that I can remix for you:

 - Window upper notch (if you window has one) - using this will make the parts smaller (not as thick).

   - Window notch thickness

 - Window thickness - This is a much simpler design but uses more material.

 - Side frame thickness

 - Track opening

 - Bottom lip

 - Window to frame

Current dimensions of window sizes.

 - Window upper notch = 12mm

 - Window thickness = 30mm

 - Side frame thickness = 18mm

 - Bottom lip = 5mm

 - Track opening = 7mm

From the inside of the frame to the face of the window. This is there the side pieces need to sit flush against the window.

 - Frame to window = 6mm

Either the window thickness (if you don't have the notch) or the notch dimension

 - Window thickness = 30mm

 - Window upper notch = 12mm

 - Notch thickness = 5mm

I can adjust all of these to make it fit your specific window.  I will also be making a general sized design but will not fit as tight each window.
