Modelo 3D Wind-Up Flapping Chicken por baynimals no MakerWorld

Descrição

The barnyard is getting a little rowdy! Meet the newest (and rudest) addition to the wind-up farm family.

Using the same Bambu Lab Wind-Up Walker hardware as the rest of the collection, this grumpy chicken brings a whole new type of movement. To wind it up, you actually turn its tongue! As the mechanism unwinds, the walker's feet push against the wings, causing them to flap wildly while the chicken sticks its tongue out at you.

Key Features

Hilarious Mechanics: Repurposes the Bambu Lab Wind-Up Walker so the feet power the flapping wings, while the winding stem is cleverly hidden inside the tongue!

A1 Mini Friendly: All parts are perfectly sized to print easily on smaller build plates like the Bambu Lab A1 Mini.

No AMS Required: Every piece is modeled separately. Print the batches in your favorite colors and assemble them afterward.

Snap-Fit Assembly: Designed with precise tolerances to press-fit together cleanly.

Important Safety Warning

While this model features snap-fit tolerances, it is highly recommended to use super glue on all parts if this will be given to a child. Small details like the tongue, comb, wattle, eyes, and beak can pose a choking hazard if they work loose during play. Please glue everything securely!

Hardware Required

1 Bambu Lab Wind-Up Walker mechanism

Printing & Assembly Notes

Print the Parts: Print all pieces in your desired colors. The body, wings, tail, feet, comb, wattle, beak, tongue, and eyes are all separated.

Install the Motor: Drop the Bambu Walker securely inside the main body cavity. The winding stem should face forward toward the beak opening.

Attach the Action Parts: Connect the tongue to the exposed winding stem. Then, attach the wings so they rest directly over the walker's moving feet.

Build the Chicken: Snap the feet, tail, comb, wattle, and eyes into place. (Remember to use super glue for safety and permanence!)

Also, if you ever want to restore your Wind-Up Walker's feet stabilizers so that it can walk again, I created some Wind-Up walker Repair Shoes that are a quick print and easy to install!
