the new evolution of my original customizable handles and knobs project, focused entirely on handle-style designs with many more shape options, mounting choices, and fine-tuning controls.

Designed in OpenSCAD and ready for MakerWorld customization, this version lets you generate strong and fully adjustable furniture handles for drawers, cabinet doors, doors, workshop furniture, and other custom projects.

Compared to V1, this Handle V2 version adds more visual styles, more ergonomic control, and more mounting flexibility while keeping the model practical and easy to print.

What you can customize:

• Handle hole spacing with preset values or fully custom distance
• Screw size from M3 to M8
• Threaded hole or smooth hole for heat-set threaded inserts
• Automatic or custom thread pitch
• Thread fit clearance for better print tolerances
• Support post diameter and height
• Cylindrical or tapered support posts
• Joined or separate support bases
• Support post base fillet for a smoother transition
• Bar length, width, and thickness
• Multiple bar profiles:
  Rectangular, Rounded Rect, Oval, Capsule, Superellipse, Chamfered Rect
• Flat or domed bar ends
• Center rise for curved handles
• Bar twist for more stylized designs
• Grip grooves on the top surface
• Adjustable rendering quality for smoother previews

This makes it possible to create anything from simple functional handles to more refined and decorative modern designs, while still keeping the model printable and structurally solid.

Printing notes:

• Recommended material: PLA for general indoor use, PETG or ABS/ASA for higher durability
• Supports are usually not needed when the handle is oriented flat on the print bed
• Increase walls and infill for larger handles or heavier use
• For smooth holes, heat-set inserts can be used for stronger threads in printed parts

Print orientation may vary depending on the handle style you generate, but in most cases the automatic orientation works correctly and is the recommended choice.

This model is ideal if you want a handle that fits your exact spacing, style, and mounting needs instead of adapting your project to a fixed-size part.
