Full MakerWorld Description
Bring a little toolbox energy to snack time.
This Dad’s Snackout Tool Box is a fun, toolbox-inspired snack box featuring a separate lid, main base, working hinge points, black front latches, and printable pins. The lid features raised white lettering with a lightning-style underline for a clean shop-themed look.
It makes a great Father’s Day print, garage snack box, candy holder, gift box, desk organizer, or small parts container for the workshop.
At 150% scale, the approximate finished size is:
7.5" L x 5.5" W x 3.6" H
The lid sits on top of the base so that the finished height may vary slightly depending on fitment, material, and printer calibration.

Assembly Notes
- Print the lid, base, latches, gasket, and pins. NOTE: The gasket by itself is OPTIONAL (can be printed in TPU).
- Test fit the pins before final assembly.
- Do not force tight pins into the hinge or latch holes, especially when printing in PLA (slightly scale down slightly on the X and Y axes). I have noted to reduce dowel pin sizes.
- Install the latches using the printed pins or compatible metal pins.
- Place the lid on top of the base
- Attach the lid to the base with dowel rods on the rear of the assembly
- Place the gasket into the small opening on the base
There ARE metal dowel pins out there (not tested). You're looking for something close to: 4.8 mm (3/16" = 4.75 mm) x 45 mm (1.75" = 44.45 mm).
