Descrição
Use this knob to replace broken drawer or cabinet knobs, or to give furniture a quick visual refresh.
You can set your own front symbol (emoji or character), then print a full matching set for kitchens, bedrooms, closets, toy storage, or office furniture.
The back sits flat against the panel and uses a standard machine screw from the rear.
Screw and nut choice:
- Use matching metric hardware: M3 screw with M3 nut, M4 with M4, and so on.
- M4 is the best all-round choice for most drawer fronts and cabinet doors.
- Use M3 for very small or light-duty knobs.
- Use M5 when you want a thicker, stronger setup.
How to choose screw length:
1. Measure the thickness of your drawer front or cabinet door (in mm).
2. Check the neck length value you chose for the knob.
3. Use this rule: screw length is about panel thickness + neck length + 4 mm.
4. Pick the next longer standard screw size.
5. If needed, fine-tune with a washer.
Quick examples (if neck length is 20 mm):
- 12 mm panel: choose about 35-40 mm screw length.
- 16 mm panel: choose about 40 mm screw length.
- 18 mm panel: choose about 45 mm screw length.
- 22 mm panel: choose about 45-50 mm screw length.
How to assemble and install the knob:
1. Print both parts: the main knob body and the face cap.
2. Place the matching hex nut into the nut pocket in the body.
3. Press the face cap into place so the peg seats fully.
4. Push the screw from the back side of the drawer or door.
5. Hold the knob in position on the front and tighten the screw into the nut.
6. Tighten until snug, then stop. Do not over-tighten.
Helpful tip:
- If the cap feels loose after test fitting, use a tiny drop of CA glue between the two printed parts.
