Basic Gridfinity Generator V1.1.5

This model started as a side project while working on my Ultimate Gridfinity Drawer Configurator. I wanted to improve and optimize the grid generation inside that model, but that quickly turned into way too many hours of testing, tweaking, printing, and comparing different versions.

The result is this separate, focused tool: a clean Basic Gridfinity Generator.

It is made for quickly generating Gridfinity-compatible base grids in the size you need, without all the extra options. Choose your grid size, select your printer size for splitting, and pick one of the available grid styles.

Grid types

Standard
The proven, solid version. Best when strength and a reliable base are the priority.

Light
A more efficient version that keeps a strong Gridfinity structure while reducing material and print time.

Ultra Light
The most minimal version, designed for maximum material savings and faster prints. This version is still being improved further, especially around the fine details of the ribs and connections.

Strong
A grid focused on maximum strength and durability. This version will also be improved further in the next updates to make it an even better option for heavier use and more demanding setups.

Future updates

This tool will still receive updates. The next steps are focused on improving the Strong version, adding magnet options, and adding screw hole options.

Planned improvements are:

• More refinement based on test prints and feedback

Once these improvements are added, this generator will become the new base system for the Ultimate Gridfinity Drawer Configurator.
