I have designed this and have been testing it for a while and all good. Best to print in something heat resistant but i have also tested PLA but live in Norway so not very high temperatures. 

The handles I printed in GF PLA and 5 walls.

Uses a 3mm rod taround  35 cm long to mount the lid.

The box takes around 1kg of filament but it is worth it as these boxes are a pain to source. And i use cheap filament.
