I am so incredibly excited to share this customizable desk lamp with you!   I wanted a beautiful, illuminated piece of art that was just as fun to put together as it is to look at. The magic of this lamp comes from a series of thin, layered panels inside the frame that catch the light and create a gorgeous sense of depth, drawing your eye right into the center of the glow.

What makes this model truly special is that it is a parametric design. That means you don't just get one lamp—you get a built-in customizer that lets you generate your own unique version! Inside the Maker World customizer, you can choose between 6 to 12 internal panels and pick from five completely different aesthetic styles: smooth flowing Organic waves, sharp Geometric angles, jagged Crystal shards, modern Steps, or a completely Randomized pattern.

I wanted to make sure this was incredibly easy for anyone to print and put together, even if you are brand new to 3D printing. You don't need any technical skills, and you don't need to mess with any messy print supports! Every single piece of this lamp is pre-arranged to print completely flat on your build plate. Once everything is printed, you just slide the numbered pieces into perfectly sized slots built into the base like a simple puzzle. The top cap features a U-channel that slides securely right over the side walls, locking everything in place so it can't be bumped off your table.

The base is designed specifically to hold the Bambu Lab LED Lamp Kit 001 (MH001). It features an optional glowing diffuser disc to soften the LEDs, a friction-fit bottom cap to keep the light totally secure if you pick the lamp up, and a hidden channel out the back so your power cord stays neat and out of the way. This is one of my absolute favorite additions to the HotEnd Foundry collection, and I cannot wait to see the amazing designs and color combinations you all come up with!
