Printer Type: FDM
Nozzle: 0.4 mm

• Layer Height: 0.16–0.2 mm
• Infill: 10–15% (Gyroid or Grid)
• Walls: 2–3
• Top/Bottom Layers: 3–4
• Speed: 40–60 mm/s
• Supports: OFF
• Adhesion: Brim optional (3–5 lines if needed)

Material Recommendations

• PLA (Best) → clean articulation, easiest print
• PLA+ → slightly stronger joints
• PETG → works well, reduce stringing & increase cooling
• ⚠️ TPU not recommended unless tuned carefully

Print Tips

• Ensure first layer is not over-squished (prevents fused joints)
• Let the model fully cool before moving joints
• Gently flex each segment to free movement after printing
• If joints feel tight: lightly wiggle side-to-side instead of forcing

Scaling

• Works best at 100% scale
• Can scale down to ~80% depending on printer tolerance
• Scaling up improves articulation smoothness

Orientation

• Print flat on the build plate (default orientation)
• Do not rotate—model is designed for optimal bridging
