General Description:

Apache Case GoPro Battery Storage Modules:

These modules are built to be used as inserts for Apache Hard Cases you can find at your local Harbor Freight. I've chosen Apache Cases because I and no one I know can afford the Pelican alternatives to these cases. The biggest drawback to these Apache cases are the removable foam tabs within the case. While durable for a little while eventually these foam inserts soften up or degrade over time with use of your case.

To make this storage system more robust, I've decided to make modules that fit perfectly within all of the squared foam tabs featured within these cases. This also allows you to have efficient form fitted sections that prevent your valuable equipment from moving around while you travel with your Apache Case.

Compatibility:

Compatible with the GoPro ADBAT-011 & ADDBD-211 battery models. For the less technically minded these models are compatible with the batteries for the following GoPro Models

• GoPro Hero 9
• GoPro Hero 10
• GoPro Hero 11
• GoPro Hero 12

Modules Included in this Profile:

3 Battery Linear Module:

Fits within a 3x3 foam tab area, holds 3 GoPro Batteries in a linear fashion with a small amount of room on the top and bottom for you to label or number batteries if your that kind of person.

6 Battery Linear Module:

Fits within a 6x4 foam tab area, holds 6 GoPro Batteries in a linear fashion with a small amount of room on the top and bottom for you to label or number batteries. 

6 Battery Grid Module:

Fits within a 5x4 foam tab area, holds 6 GoPro Batteries in a grid fashion. Technically speaking this module is more efficient at storing batteries within a smaller area, but different people elect to arrange their hard cases differently. I decided to offer a series of options just in case people wanted to store things differently.

5 Battery Staggered Module:

Fits within a 5x4 foam tab area, holds 5 GoPro Batteries in a grid fashion. This is not as efficient at storing the most amount of batteries within a given area, but batteries are expensive and I think the staggered layout is pretty neat looking so I ran with it anyways.

Materials & Material Suggestions:

GoPros are action cameras, and these modules will be built to hopefully store and travel with your equipment for a long time. With that being said I personally suggest printing these modules in ASA. This way you don't need to worry about your prints living in a hot car for an extended weekend of camping and sitting in the sun with extended exposure to UV rays.

Luckily there is a little bit of tolerance room for the battery storage sockets in these models. You get about an extra 0.5mm of leeway with these sections of the print. So these models should be pretty forgiving regardless of the material you choose to print.
