Plate replacement for Evolution RAGE5-S Table saw.

For 90° cuts only. It does not allow angle cuts.

(I'll probably make another model for up to 45° angle cuts, when I get the occasion, but obviously the clearance will be much wider)

It's not exactly zero clearance, l left a bit of space around the blade to allow some defects or blade misalignments.

(and you don't want the blade to catch the plate…)

For better results, print on a smooth printer plate, not textured.

Supports are needed only for the 2 slots and the external part of the locking bit.

Links are 298mm length, make sure your printer bed is big enough.

To assemble properly :

1. Check the links can slide in the gutters
   (tolerance might differ depending on your printer calibration, they should slide easy enough but still be quite fit)
2. Place the top flat parts down on a very flat surface
3. Put some glue in the link gutters 
4. Quickly insert the 3 links all the way on one side

5. Do the same for the second part, making sure the ensemble stays flat and the 2 parts are touching each other in the middle.

    

The locking mecanism is print-in-place.

It requires a bit of force to set free, just grab the bit and force rotate it.

(tolerances are tight because i didn't want it to be wobbly and protrude form the plate)
