I’ve noticed many prints labeled for the X2D where people assume it is identical to the P2S in every aspect. That’s simply not accurate. While the two printers share many similarities, there are still important differences that should be taken into account when designing parts and accessories specifically for the X2D.
 

          I designed this Gridfinity-compatible toolbox specifically for the X2D, taking its differences into account. It includes dedicated spaces for the wrench, the third lubricant tube, the spare hotend, and a space for small parts removed during setup (such as screws and plastic inserts). Each compartment features indentations to ensure easy access to all components, while the wrench slot includes a push-to-lift mechanism for quick removal.

          The toolbox follows a 3×4×4U Gridfinity format.

          I will also be releasing a standard toolbox with a lid in the near future.
