Universal 3D‑Printable Leaf Blower Wall Mount

This universal wall mount is a clean, efficient way to store almost any leaf blower using a pull‑loaded design. This mount uses a perpendicular support ring that the blower tube slides into. The blower then hangs naturally, transferring the load straight into the wall through tension, which is… according to a quick AI prompt… the strongest way to do that with 3d printing. (I'm no engineer, it seems to work, so hey…)

The ring is angled downward by 2.5°, which should correspond to most blowers taper angle.
 

This model is fully parametric, allowing you to adapt it to most regular size handheld leaf blowers.
 

How to print :

In the print profile, I angled it 45degrees and lowered the holder by 10mm, creating a flat side in the bottom corner that's facing the wall. This makes the print lines in a "pull" configuration, with the load going down:

I suggest doing this for generated models too.

If you want to keep it simple(r), you can  use the “Lay on face [F]” feature on the back of the screw plate.

I suggest to not print the ring on the plate, as there's a higher chance for the back plate to delaminate.

I Feel like even PLA is fine for this with light blowers, but PETG or ABS would be recommended, as is typical with functionnal prints with a bit of a “stress” factor involved. Nobody's preventing you from using nylon, if you're scaling this up as a basketball hoop or something.

Customizable parameters:

p_diameter_blower_tube  
Sets the outer diameter of the ring. Choose the size that fits your blower tube.
(Note: the ring has a built‑in 2.5° downward angle.)

p_distance_between_tube_and_wall  
Controls how far the ring sits from the wall. Increase this if your blower’s motor housing or handle protrudes and needs extra clearance. Obviously, the farther you go, the more leverage the weight has to break. Keep as low as possible.

p_screw_hole_diameter  
Adjusts the screw hole size to match your preferred mounting hardware or wall anchors.

Print in a strong material like PETG or ABS, mount it to a solid surface, and enjoy a simple, universal, and extremely sturdy storage solution that keeps your blower off the floor and always ready to grab.

Bonus tip
 

When mounting plastic stuff to wall with screw holes that have a tight tolerance, for example if the hole is accounting for the screw shaft but not the thread, put your drill in a “unscrew” position, “send it” full throttle to create heat for a bit, then put it in the screw position and screw it in!
It'll help not to split the print. Alternatively… pre-drill.
