Overview

This is a simple but incredibly useful tool if you need to cleanly mark or cut a defined radius onto a right-angle corner. The uploaded .STL file is configured for a 25 mm/1" radius, which is exactly what I needed when I first designed it.

Customization

I have included editable parameters so you can easily customize the radius—and other dimensions—to fit your exact project needs.

• Easy Organization: The template features a built-in hole so you can hang it on a workshop hook, and the specific radius value is neatly embossed right onto the face for quick reference.
• A Quick Note on Units: If you are working in "Freedom Units," just remember there are exactly 25.4 mm to an inch.

How to Use It

Operation is perfectly straightforward:

1. Saddle the template directly over the corner of the object you want to mark or cut.
2. Pull the template snugly back against the corner until both inner sides are completely flush with the edges of your workpiece.
3. You are all set to trace your line or make your cut!

Print Settings

• Orientation: The print profile is set flat-side down, completely eliminating the need for supports.
• Material: I used standard PLA, but any rigid filament will work.

🛠️ A quick tip on the parameters: I didn't spend the extra time putting hard limits on the parametric values to prevent extreme entries. It works flawlessly with typical radius sizes, and the overall body scales naturally with your input. If you scale it down to a tiny radius (like 5 mm), the embossed text might crunch together a bit—but that's purely cosmetic and I didn't want to artificially lock you out of small sizes!
