The Bonsai Charging Dock is a 3D printed desk organiser that combines natural bonsai-inspired design with practical everyday charging functionality. It is designed as a 3-in-1 wireless charging station for iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch, all integrated into a single structure.

The base of the model (the pot) includes a built-in angled phone slot, designed to hold your phone at an optimal viewing angle while charging. This allows for comfortable screen visibility whether the dock is used on a desk, bedside table, or workspace.

Above the base, the bonsai tree structure extends into branches and leaf-like platforms that serve as charging points for both AirPods and Apple Watch. The design uses the standard Apple Watch wireless charging puck, which is integrated into the structure and also supports charging for the AirPods. The puck sits securely within the model and aligns magnetically with the Apple Watch for reliable, cable-free charging, while maintaining a clean and minimal desk setup with hidden cable routing through the tree structure.

Cable management is fully integrated into the design, with a hidden routing path running through the trunk and branches, allowing the charging cables to stay concealed. This keeps the entire setup clean and minimal while still supporting multiple devices at once.

The overall design follows a low-poly bonsai aesthetic, blending geometric simplicity with organic form. This makes the model both visually striking and practical, functioning as both a desk sculpture and a multi-device charging hub.

NOTE: The design is specifically built around the Apple Watch wireless charging puck (USB-A version), which is housed within the internal structure of the model. To ensure proper fit, the USB-A connector must be no larger than 14 × 16.5 mm and no longer than 26 mm to pass through the cable routing channel. Slightly larger connectors may fit in some cases, but this has not been tested and cannot be guaranteed, so correct sizing is recommended for reliable assembly.

It is also recommended to feed the charging cables through the tree structure (trunk and branches) at the same time during assembly, rather than one cable at a time. This is because the internal routing channels are shared and cables can easily catch or snag on each other if installed separately, making the process more difficult. Feeding them together helps reduce friction, prevents entanglement, and ensures a smoother and cleaner installation process.
