Simple pcie riser tray/stand to hold an externally mounted gpu.

This design was modeled specifically for NVIDIA 5090 FE/5080 FE/Pro 6000 Workstation cards for use with one of the common PCIE to MCIO riser variants. This design should still work with other GPUs, and would also likely work with other riser pcbs by simply modifying the base plate standoff locations.

Details about the models:

• Base
  • Holds the PCIE to MCIO riser.
  • Requires:
    • 8x M3 heated inserts
• Face Plate
  • I recommend you install the face plate AFTER the GPU is in the slot, as it locks in the GPU and prevents it from moving. Attaching this before installing the GPU may make inserting the GPU difficult.
  • Requires:
    • 1-2x M3 heated inserts (for the PCIE bracket retention screw)
  • Mounting:
    • 2x M3x12 bolts
    • 2x M3x8 bolts
    • 1-2x M3x6 screws (used to retain the gpu)
• Foot
  • You will need to print two of these.
  • Variants:
    • The normal “Foot” variant is lower profile to allow for GPUs of different shapes.
    • The “Foot Rear” variant has a raised middle section to support the GPU from sagging.
    • If you are using the 5090 FE/5080 FE/Pro 6000 WS, printing one (or two) of the “Foot Rear” variants can help support the GPU.
  • Requires:
    • 4x M3 heated inserts on the foot used in the front
  • Mounting:
    • 2x M3x12 bolts to mount each foot to the base
