Standard 0.2mm layers ensure the print-in-place hinges have the necessary clearance to move freely without fusing. While 2 walls keep the print lightweight and fast, they provide the ideal amount of lateral flex for the front snap-closure to engage securely without being too brittle.

PETG-HF is the preferred material for this vault due to its superior impact resistance and durability during travel. While standard PLA will work, a "Tough" variety is recommended to ensure the front locking nub maintains its "snap" over hundreds of opening cycles without fatiguing.

Assembly & Usage Instructions

1. Cooling: Allow the build plate to cool completely before removal to prevent warping the hinge geometry.
2. Break-in: Gently work the hinge back and forth several times to clear any minor sacrificial bridges.
3. Loading: Slide rings over the internal nubs and snap the lid shut until you hear a distinct click.
