DS18B20 Mounts

A simple, minimalist DS18B20 mount originally designed for rack intake air temperature measurements. The sensor slides in cleanly — loose enough to go in without force, tight enough to stay put without glue or tape.

Mounting variants

Four versions included to cover most use cases:

• Screw mount — M5 (5.5/9.5mm) and M6 (6.5/10.5mm) holes, cylindrical hex screws. Available in flat and offsetted versions.
• Magnetic — pockets for 2×10mm and 4×10mm magnets. The shorter 2mm version works fine for vertical mounting with N35 magnets. For horizontal mounting, use the longer version with at least 4mm N35 magnets.
• Zip tie — holes need a bit of force to thread the tie through.
• Flat — smooth back for double-sided tape mounting.

Printing

The offsetted screw mount version is oriented in the files to print without supports — brim recommended.

Print settings

• Material: Any — choose based on your use case. PLA works fine for indoor ambient measurements but isn't suitable for anything above ~50°C. PETG or better recommended if mounting near heat sources.
• Layer height: 0.2mm
• Infill: 15% gyroid
