Bambi | Automatic Servo Door Controller

The smart way to manage your printer's chamber temperature.

Bambi is an automated solution designed specifically for the Bambu Lab P2S printers. It uses an ESP32 and a servo motor to intelligently open and close the printer door based on real-time MQTT data. Perfect for batch printing and technical filaments like ASA or ABS.

1. With a Button to manually open the door
2. without the button
3. only the Servo guide without room for the electronics

Key Features:

• Fully Automated: No physical buttons required. The system "listens" to your printer.
• Smart Cooling: Automatically opens the door when the print is finished and the bed has cooled to your target temperature.
• Batch Ready: Automatically closes the door before the next print starts.
• Mechatronic Precision: Designed to prevent heat creep while maintaining high chamber temps for ASA/ABS.
• G-Code Generator: Generate custom eject code for your printing.

Technical Setup

1. Hardware: ESP32, standard Servo, 3D-printed mounts.
2. Logic: MQTT-based control (connects via printer IP and Access Code).
3. Software & Automation: Electron APP for Windows and ESP Code: Github
4. Bambu Cloud: I wanted a system that is 100% compatible with the Bambu Cloud Network ( Bambu App / Bambu Studio).
5. Clearing Feature: The Pushing out of the print is in the G-Code itself, you need to change the values for you printing.
