Modelo 3D Thermalmaster p3 Microscope ringlight mount por Cromwell no MakerWorld

Descrição

A quick mount I threw together. It's very amateur and I'm embarrassed to even upload the step file but it is a lot better than my previous thermal camera mount design. This one is able to see what your microscope can see. It isn't perfectly centered or anything but it works for me. I ditched the zip ties this time because I didn't want to zip tie my camera to the mount in case I ever needed to take it with me somewhere. I designed some little clips to hold it in place, I think most of the holding force is coming from just squeezing it in-between them and not the actual clip part but that's okay with me. That said the tolerences are pretty high with them since if they are printed larger than with my tolerance they may squeeze the camera too tightly. I may perfect this later on but for now I'm just enjoying being able to use my microscope and thermal camera at the same time.

My print settings:
Bambulab P1S using Sunlu PLA + 2.0
0.4mm nozzle
2 walls
0.2 layer height
Painted supports on the part that attaches to the ring light. Could probably also just use automatic supports.

Auto orient it with whatever slicer you use.

Might try to print it with ASA for when I'm soldering a port or connector and pointing the hot air directly up, but we'll see how it holds up.

Uploaded a view of my OBS with my microscope and the thermal camera mounted so people can visualize how it will be.

It mounts to the ring light with a Command strip or any double sided adhesive.

Edit: The little clips on the sides are too thin and break easily. I have gotten around this by using double sided tape to stick the camera down for now. I need to make the clips more wide.

Edit 2: I have made a version with wider clips. I have not tested this print yet but hopefully it will be stronger and keep the clips from breaking so easily.
