Modelo 3D BOB 2.8K - Apache 2800 cyberdeck computer por Tonypedia no MakerWorld

Descrição

This is BOB 2.8K an Apache 2800 cyberdeck, short for "bug out box 2800" in theory everything you need to contact survivors and rebuild.  I printed it on a P2S, so I had to chop all the large parts in half.  To turn an ugly seam into a feature, you can print out the orange cosmetic pieces and glue them over the seams.  Be warned this project ended up being way more expensive than I thought and wildly impractical, but totally worth it.

If you want to make something similiar, I've also published the design files for the custom panel and panel mount solution I came up with.  Check my other projects.

This is based on the work of z40sw0n (with permission).  I used his case feet and keyboard mount with minimal modification, and borrowed on the aesthetic, but the panel and panel mount are my own design.  His work is featured here: [https://github.com/x40sw0n/HardCase/blob/main/](https://github.com/x40sw0n/HardCase/blob/main/)

a few notes from along the way
-power toggles require modified USB cables to switch off the return lines for the SDR and Heltec V4.
-the Rpi will be receiving 5A, But wont see the PD communication telling it that so it will current limit the USB.  You can get around this by editing you boot.txt file, tutorials are abundant.
-the mounting frame is attached to the case with epoxy.
-I added the standalone battery monitor because I had difficulty getting the IC on the UPS to talk to the latest version of Raspbian--someone made a real nice battery widget that just wasn't compatible, hence adding a standalone monitor.
-The UPS I used has no current limiting built in, so if you're charging it from USBC it will just draw the maximum current.  To fix this, I put a power supply in between to give it the specific voltage it wanted and limit the current so I didn't blow up my batteries.
-I had to use a Inrush limiter, because the power supply was toggling on and off.  Your mileage may vary.
-You may see in the pictures I have an audio jack on the front panel.  I put that in before i realized the Pi5 doesn't have audio out.
