Overview
This is a manual deburring tool designed to remove sharp edges and burrs from 3D printed parts or other materials.
It helps improve surface finish and reduces the risk of injury caused by sharp edges.
The tool consists of four printed parts and is assembled using threaded connections for a secure and durable build.

🧩 Assembly
- Print all four parts
- Screw the handle, blade holder, and end cap together
- Insert the blade into the blade holder
- Align the reduced section of the blade with the cross hole
- Secure the blade using the set screw
The blade is held in place by a mechanical lock via the set screw.
🖨️ Printing Recommendations
- Print profile: Fine quality recommended (for threads)
- Layer height: 0.12–0.16 mm
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Supports: Not required
Handle:
- Printed separately with fuzzy skin enabled for improved grip

- ABS ✅ (tested, recommended for threaded parts)
- PETG possible alternative
- PLA not recommended for long-term durability
⚠️ Notes
- Ensure clean threads for proper assembly
- Minor post-processing may improve thread fit
- During testing, the set screw head broke at the slot, but still held the blade securely
- Handle with care when using sharp blades
🔪 Blade Information
The blade must be inserted until the reduced section aligns with the cross hole in the holder.
This ensures proper locking with the set screw.
