Elevate your home decor with this modular DIY X-Frame Table Bracket! This design allows you to create custom-sized coffee tables, TV stands, or plant benches by combining 3D-printed stability with the natural look of wood. Please be aware to not overload your custom table

The brackets are specifically designed for standard 33mm x 33mm square wooden legs. Since you provide the tabletop and the legs, the dimensions of the final furniture piece are entirely up to you!

Bill of Materials (BOM)

To build a standard table (using 2 brackets), you will need:

3D Printed Parts

  • 2x Brackets
  • 1x Cutting Jig (only one needed for the whole project)

Hardware (Required per Bracket)

  • 8x M3 Countersunk Screws: For mounting the bracket base to the tabletop.
  • 4x M4 Screws: To secure the wooden legs into the side-holes of the sockets. (lenght around 30mm)

Wood

  • Wooden Legs: 4x Square wooden posts (33mm x 33mm).
  • Tabletop: Any wood or laminate board of your choice.

Print Settings

This is a functional furniture component, so strength is the priority:

  • Material: PETG (Recommended), ASA, or PLA+.
  • Wall Loops: 4 - 6 (Crucial for screw-holding strength).
  • Infill: 15% (Doesn't really matter)
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • Supports: Designed to need no supports

Assembly Instructions

  1. Cut the Legs: Use the provided Cutting Jig to mark and saw your 33mm wood posts at the correct angle. Make sure they are all the same length
  2. Mount Brackets: Position the brackets on the underside of your tabletop. Secure each bracket using 8x M3 countersunk screws.
  3. Insert Legs: Slide the pre-cut wooden legs into the bracket sockets. Check if the table woobles 
  4. Final Security: Use 4x M4 screws per bracket (through the side-holes) to lock the legs firmly into place. This ensures the table is rock-solid.
