The Simple AMS Riser (SAR), is a Modular Extension to the P2S that elevates the AMS unit to increase Effective Storage above the printer and provide a better overview through the top window. The SAR uses no screws, being constructed fully of 3D printed parts, and can be quickly assembled by hand. 

The design is my own work, with a lot of effort going into making it very accessible. I have needed a solution like this for a while, often browsing what other designers have created, but often finding their solutions to be overly complex, too time consuming to print, or excessive for my purposes. I therefore decided to make my own, prioritizing Simplicity, Functionality, and with SUNLU's gray PLA, a lil bit of Style :)

Modularity
The SAR can be configured in several ways using the included addons, but also features geometries intended to allow for further expansion. The model includes: 2x Thin storage panels (left & right), 1x Large storage panel, and a Nozzle organizer (4 slots). 

Assembly
The included parts are designed to be highly intuitive to aid in the assembly, while also using simple fixing-solutions to make the process very straight forward. For assembling the design, simply put together the 4 main beams in the position they fit and align, attach the upper section to the two sides and then the lower section to make it secure. After assembling the SAR, its recommended to put electrical tape or other material for reducing friction against the printer, especially for use on an X1C. After this, simply clear the top of the printer, fit and align the sides of the design so the edges go against the sides of the printer. Configure the design in the way most suitable for your needs, and then carefully place the AMS on the top within the side edges.

Settings
The design works well with most settings. It is however recommended that the two side pieces be printed with strength in mind, and for the beams and connectors its recommended to use Adaptive layer height. The rectangular pins are also very exact, and depending on print quality, may need to be scaled down slightly if they are difficult to fit.
