Simple parametric clip designed to be installed on the legs of a clothes drying rack to help prevent a robot vacuum from climbing onto it, getting stuck, or spinning in place.

I made it because my robot vacuum sometimes tried to ride over the drying rack legs and got trapped. In my case, using these clips solved the problem with my Roborock Q5 Pro+.

Parametric model

This model can be customized using MakerWorld’s Customize button.

You can adjust:

• Diameter – the tube diameter
• Height – the height of the blocker piece
• Wide – the width of the piece along the drying rack tube

The Diameter parameter already includes a built-in +0.15 mm tolerance, so you can enter the nominal tube diameter directly.

Notes

• In my case, the drying rack can still be folded without removing the clips.
• I needed 6 pieces total to make it fully effective:
  • 3 per side / leg section

Compatibility will depend on the shape of your drying rack and how your robot approaches it, but if your issue is similar, this may be a simple fix.
