A moon-phase-inspired 245mm wall clock.

Optional ‘eclipse’ hour hand that blacks out the current hour, especially cool between the hours of 11 and 1

Assembly Instructions

1 • Print the Gold Leaf plate first, so that you can gold leaf these parts whilst the other parts print.

When applying the gold leaf to the backplate, be sure to leave a couple mm border for better glue contact.
If you use the textured print bed, golf leafing the bottom layer of your print gives you a really nice effect. 
 

2 • Print the face plate and superglue the gold black plate to this.

3 • Pop in the centre cap for the 6 position and glue from the back

4 • Use a spot of glue and press the minute hand into the back of the centre cap

5 • Print the clock body and place the face inside - hot glue or superglue from the back

6 •  Insert your clock mechanism and hands as you would any other clock,
being sure to fasten with the brass nut
