Cake Slice Shaped Container

Hello! This is an slice of cake shaped container that I designed with the intention that every part would be easy to print and assemble. There are two different versions of the model: one with the decorations attached to the Body and Lid of the container, and one where the decorations for both the Body and the Lid are printed separately to allow for more color options. In both versions of the container, the Lid is the only piece that requires a small amount of support material. A brim is strongly encouraged when printing the Lid Decoration piece to keep it from falling over mid print. Additionally, depending on how well your prints adhere to your print bed, a brim may be needed around the Top Layer and Bottom Layer pieces to keep them from lifting off of the bed.

Ideal Print Orientations

For both versions of the container, the Top Layer and Bottom Layer pieces can be slid into their corresponding spaces in the main Body piece of the container. For the version with separate decorations, The Lid Decoration piece snaps onto the top of the Lid, and the Body Decoration piece attaches to the outer edge of the Body with three dovetail joints.

I did my best to make the tolerances of all parts ideal to their function, but with the nearly infinite amounts of materials and printers, there are bound to be variations in how parts are printed. So, hopefully the parts as they are uploaded will work for you, but in case they don't, I have included the STEP and F3D files so people can make whatever edits they want to!
