The Eclipse class Dreadnought were a class of 2, 17.5-kilometer-long Starships built for Emperor Palpatine by Kuat Drive yards. the Eclipse class were shorter than the Executor class super Star destroyer but were much thicker and wider. The Eclipse class was special for its scaled down axial super laser developed from the DS-1 orbital battle stations that could destroy capital ships, crack planetary crusts, and destroy continents from a single shot, thus the thicker hull. Both eclipses were simply called “Eclipse I” and “Eclipse II”, the first one was destroyed along with the reborn Emperor in 10 ABY, during an Imperial attack on Pinnacle Moon in the Da Soocha system, when Luke Skywalker and his sister, Princess Leia Organa Solo, managed to disrupt the Emperor's control of a titanic Force storm, a massive conflagration of dark side energy that the Emperor had summoned in order to wipe out the massed New Republic fleet. After this catastrophe, the Eclipse II replaced the original. It was slightly different than its predecessor, with different thrusters. Above the planet Onderon, Lando Calrissian and Wedge Antilles led a small boarding party against the mighty battleship, and R2-D2 was able to override Eclipse II's computer banks. The astromech droid then sent Eclipse II hurtling through hyperspace on a collision course with the superweapon Galaxy Gun. Eclipse II rammed the Galaxy Gun, destroying both. One last projectile was pulled by Byss' gravity and impacted the planet, the resulting explosion annihilating Byss and the clones of Emperor Palpatine.

This model was sized to the same scale as a 35 cm Executor Class SSD model I have printed with my other account and on my Bambu A1 combo, this and that executor model are both 1:53,150 scale, this version of the Eclipse was modeled after the Stylized version shown in the YouTube short film “Battle of the dreadnoughts” by Eckhartsladder where we see it firing and destroying a viscount class starship! because my black filament was partially unrolled, there a few gaps and seams in my model, but if you have good, rolled filament, your model should turn out fine. some of the information in the description above was used from the Wookiepedia page about the eclipse and ChatGPT, the underlined part about the destruction of the ships is from the page (don't sue me owners of Wookiepedia!). the model prints in 2 parts with a square connector, I recommend using superglue to connect the 2 pieces, after that, add pictures to your review and feel free to color it (which I recommend!!!) thank you so much for taking time out of your day to read this little message AND checking out my model <3 (:
