Blue Tinted Transparent Pattern Vase
This vase is all about that clean, glass-like look ✨
The flowing shape and subtle pattern really shine when printed in transparent filament, giving it an ice-like finish.
Filament used Devil Design PETG 1,75mm 1kg - Super Blue Transparent (Botland)
Good alternative: any PETG Translucent from Bambu or other company
Print Setup
- Designed for a 0.8 mm nozzle
- Tested on BambuLab Cool Plate SuperTack
- Final height: 180 mm
You can use other nozzles or plates, but:
- It will likely take longer
- The transparency may not be as clean
This is a long, slow print on purpose — it helps avoid bubbles, warping and that cloudy/milky look
👉 For the best result: stick to the provided settings
Filament Tips (Very Important)
To get that crystal-clear effect:
- Use transparent PETG (PLA/PVB also work)
- Print at the highest safe temperature for your filament
- Dry your filament first
- I used: 65°C for 6 hours in SUNLU S2 Filament Dryer (Amazon)
Because the print takes a long time, the filament can absorb moisture during printing.
If possible, print from a dry box or enclosed setup to keep it consistent.
Moist filament = bubbles = less transparency.
Want a Simpler Print?
If you’re not going for transparency:
- Just use your normal slicer settings
- Works great with any material - a STEP file is included
Take your time with this one — it’s worth it.
