Generates a custom knob that fits your exact needs. Allows easy adjustment of all the following:

• Knob diameter
• Knob width
• Shaft hole shape (hexagon, square, circular, circular ‘D’). Choose the correct generator for the desired hole shape
• Hole diameter (for circular only)
• Hole width across flats (for hexagon, square, and ‘D’)
• Hole depth (or set to 0 for no hole)
• Shank length (or 0 for no shank)
• Shank wall thickness
• Chamfer width on knob edges
• Depth of knurling cuts

• Density of knurling (1=sparse, 10=very dense)

   

  

To generate your custom knob:

1. Click the Customize button
2. Select the proper generator for your hole shape (circular, square, or hexagon)
3. Adjust the settings to your needs
4. Click “Generate”
5. When ready, download .3mf (for simple printing) or .stl (to use with Strength Modifier profile – as shown below)

For applications where strength is paramount, use the included “Strength Modifiers” profile to print your part with strength modifiers

1. Generate and download the STL for your knob (see steps above)
2. Download Strength Modifiers profile and open in Bambu Studio
3. In the “Objects” tab, right click on ExampleKnob.stl
4. Select “Replace with STL” and choose the STL for your custom knob that you downloaded
5. The modifiers should be tall enough to cover most cases, but you may need to stretch them vertically for especially wide knobs
6. Set your material & print!
