Easter Egg Buddies: The Ultimate Modular Character System 🐣✨

Bring your Easter treats to life! This isn't just a container; it's a fully customizable character kit. Designed for the MakerWorld Easter, these Buddies feature interchangeable accessories that allow you to mix and match eyes, shoes, and bows to create thousands of unique combinations.

Choose Your Version:

1. Standard Snap-Fit: A reliable, two-piece container where the top and bottom snap together. Perfect for quick gifts and fun easter hunting.
2. The Mechanical Hinge (Beta): A 2-piece assembly that creates a functional hinged opening. Note: The printing profile of this version is in Beta. I have excellent success printing this only after a full calibration, with perfectly clean plate and only Bambu Lab basic PLA yellow and Turqouise. I am still fine tunning the printing settings. You are more than welcome to upload your printing profiles if you have a good one 99% success rates with multiple prints of different filaments and no calibrations in between.

🛠️ Assembly Instructions

This model is designed for easy, tool-free assembly. For a permanent bond, a small drop of CA glue (super glue) is recommended on the pegs.

1. The Face & Style:

• Eyes: Press the eye pegs into the sockets on the top half of the egg.
• Bowtie / Hair Bow: Snap the bow peg into the center slot. 

2. The Legs:

• Align the pegs on the bottom of the egg with the holes in the shoes. Press firmly until seated.

3. The Hinge (Hinged Version Only):

• The hinge is a two-piece mechanical joint. To assemble, simply align the top half of the egg with the hinge arm on the bottom half and snap the joint together.

📹 VISUAL ASSEMBLY:

1. Make sure you have:
   1. 1 right eye
   2. 1 left eye
   3. 1 Bow or Bow tie
   4. 1 right leg
   5. 1 left leg
   6. Head
   7. Body

2. From the back of the egg, slide the top inside the bottom of the hinge and gently push to snap the hinge in place. 

3. Snap the legs, bow tie or bow, and eyes. (You can use glue if you wish)

🖨️ Printing Instructions

Optimized for the Bambu Lab P1S and similar FDM printers.

• Primary Plate: I recommend printing the Standard Snap-Fit version first for a 100% confirmed success rate.
• Wall Loops: 3 (Essential for a smooth exterior and strong hinge joints). (Outer/Inner)
• Brim: Highly recommended to ensure they don't tip during the print.
• Support: Ensure you do not use PETG as the interface.
• Speed: Slow down your Outer Wall speed to 50–100 mm/s for the best visual finish on the egg curves.
