This is the Forgotten Blade — a weathered sword bookmark that looks like it’s been lost to time and reclaimed by nature.
Wrapped in creeping vines and aged textures, this blade feels like it was pulled straight out of ancient ruins. It’s one of those prints that tells a story the second you see it.
Even with all the detail, it’s still designed to function as a real bookmark. At just 3mm thick, it slides easily into your book while still holding onto all the sculpted detail that makes it stand out.
This model is part of a larger collection of four Bookmark Blades, each with its own unique style. The full set — including the Dragon Blade, Royal Blade, and Iceborne Blade — is available on my Patreon along with my full library and commercial license.
On my Bambu Lab A1 Combo, the Forgotten Blade prints in about 2 hours at high detail and uses around 30 grams of filament, making it a quick and efficient print.
If you’re a seller, these are great for batch printing. Low material cost, fast print times, and they’re the kind of item that instantly catches attention.
I printed mine using sparkle and metallic filaments, but this design looks great in just about anything. Feel free to experiment and find a look that fits your style.
I hope you enjoy printing it!
Print Settings
Recommended settings:
• Layer Height: 0.08mm (important for capturing fine detail)
• Walls: 2
• Infill: 10% Gyroid
Because the blade is thin and highly detailed, the 0.08mm layer height really makes a difference here.
Filament Usage
• ~30g filament
• ~2 hours print time on a Bambu Lab A1
At typical filament costs, that’s roughly $0.80 per print, making it very efficient to produce.
Happy Printing!
