Descripción

Morse Code Coins

These Morse Code Coins are easy ways to always have access the every letter, number, or both in Morse Code. They are small and pocket sized with a diameter of 8-10 cm for easy carrying and a hole on at the top for keeping on a keychain.

There are three coin types:

  • Letters
  • Numbers
  • Letters & Numbers

How To Use

These Morse Code Coins are kind of hard to understand, especially the Receive Sides of them, so here is a guide on how to use them.

Send Side

The send side is the simpler of the 2 sides. To use it all you need to do is find the letter or number that you want to send and the morse code for it is directly to the right of it.

Receive Side

The receive side is a little more complicated. Whey you're receiving morse code you should start at the star, and for every dot or dash that you receive go down the tree by whatever path starts with the character you received. Then, once the sender is finished with the letter, you should be at the character that they were trying to communicate to you.

Printing And Assembly

Printing

All types of the morse code coins are printed in halves, with the inside faces laying on the print bed.

This model needs no supports and can be printed with or without an AMS.

To print with an AMS the bottom-most 1.45 of the models should be one color and the rest should be the other color (or just use the premade print profiles).

To print without an AMS you need to add a stop in the printing process between layers 9 and 10 (or stop it manually but that's a little harder). Then while it is stopped switch the filament color and start it again.

Assembly

To assemble the Morse Code Coins the halves must be glued together with the flat sides (that were facing downward) together. Make sure the halves are properly lined up with each other by making sure the holes and edge ridges line up. Any glue will work to glue them but super glue works best.

Lastly, if you print this don't forget to comment and tell me how it went!
