I just threw this up here from Odysee.  Solar Weapon Works made this Plan B thread protector which covers both the threads and taper.  It's the bee's knees.  I printed it in PETG because I'll only use it with simunitions, but I'd print it out of PET-CF if I was going to shoot real bullets with it.
