Descrição
I had major issues connecting multiple cameras for timelapse using the CyberBrick timelapse board just connected via the 2.5mm port on the card. After months of going back and forth with support, I decided to create my own solution.
This setup uses their servo motor (Connected to the cyberbrick timelapse card) together with a modified mechanical switch, which is spliced and connected to a shutter cable. You will need to 3D print your own arm (35 mm total length). Check my profile for the OpenSCAD program, which makes the process much easier. The arm uses a 21-tooth spline.
Parts
- M3 heat inserts (3 × 4 × 5 mm)
- M3x12 self-threading Phillips screws (to secure the servo motor)
- Bambu servo motor
You can mount the shutter station using tape or screws, or simply leave it unmounted as shown in my setup.
Notes
- 3D print your own arm — see my profile for the OpenSCAD generator
- Check the images for the mechanical switch measurements
- Cameras are connected using a female-to-female 3.5 mm adapter, followed by a 3.5 mm male to triple 2.5 mm shutter cable splitter
