This ring increases the diameter of ELEGOO mini spools. This is a snap fit, no glue or tools required.

I have some ELEGOO mini spools that I want to use with my AMS. There's only one issue, the filament is very close to the edges, especially for new spools. When loading a new spool the spool gets stuck when winding. Adding this ring increases the gap between the spool edges and the filament. This solves the issue.

To mount, lay the ring flat on a table. Put the spool on top with one side in the ring. Press the lower disk of the spool into the other side of the ring. A firm press and the spool will snap into the ring.
