A remix of the Lil Finder Guy originally designed by Basic Apple Guy and brought to print life by Stephen Hackett over at 512 Pixels.

This version splits the model into two single-color prints that slide together and screw apart, so the head pops on and off with a satisfying twist. No multi-material printer required — just print each plate in your color of choice and assemble in seconds.

Why two separate prints?

• Works on any single-color FDM printer
• Dramatically less purge waste compared to multi-color prints
• Better surface quality on each piece
• Sliding/screwing it together and taking it apart is just really satisfying

A great desk toy for any Mac fan, and a fun little assembly experience for anyone who loves a well-fitted print.

Admittedly, was surprised at how good this turned out, want to keep giving them to friends.  (P.S. The eyes in my photos are 6mm Crochet safety eyes, they work great)
