I created this as 2 parts to let the slicer handle the creation of the hex pattern. The ‘Shell’ is actually solid geometry. Import both and when asked if you want it to be a single model with multiple parts, select Yes. You will then need to set the following setting for each part:

Shell

• Wall Loops: 3
• Top Shell Layers: 0
• Bottom Shell Layers: 0
• Sparse Infill Density: 20%
• Sparse Infill Pattern: Honeycomb
• Maximum Length of Sparse Infill Anchor: 0

Numbers

• Wall Loops: 1
• Top Shell Layers: 0
• Bottom Shell Layers: 0
• Sparse Infill Density: 100%
• Sparse Infill Pattern: Aligned Rectilinear

Obviously You can print it however you want. I just think this looks really nice!
