Customizable Parametric Vase
This model is a fully customizable parametric vase designed in Fusion 360, allowing users to easily generate different sizes and proportions while keeping a clean and minimal aesthetic.
The design is intentionally simple and balanced so it can adapt to many uses: decorative vase, plant container, or bonsai pot. By adjusting a few parameters, users can quickly create a vase that fits their specific needs.
The geometry automatically updates when parameters are modified, maintaining consistent proportions and printable geometry.
Parametric Controls
The vase can be customized using the following parameters:
- Width – overall width of the vase
- Length – overall length of the vase
- Height – total height of the vase
- Wall Thickness – thickness of the walls
- Wall Inclination – outward wall angle
- Corner Radius – rounding of the edges
These parameters allow the user to create many variations of the same design while keeping the model structurally consistent.
Printing Settings
The model is optimized for standard FDM printing.
For best results, print the vase upside down. This orientation improves surface quality and ensures cleaner edges on the visible outer surfaces.
Recommended profile: 0.16 mm Standard. Apply the following modifications:
- Seam position: Rear
- Infill pattern: Gyroid
- Support threshold angle: 25°
- Support type: Tree (Auto)
- Infill direction angle: 45°
- Top interface layers: 3
- Top interface spacing: 0.3 mm
These settings help maintain clean surfaces while keeping supports easier to remove from the base area.
