Chess set inspired by code geass the animated series. The chess set arrangement are summarise as below:

White side is base on Britannian Military, the main military force of the Holy Britannian Empire while the black side is base on The Black Knights, the resistance group led by Zero

Kings are the same person but indicate the different side of Lelouch with black Zero that will do anything in order to protect her sister and revenge on Britannia empire without caring about others while white Emperor Lelouch that ready to sacrifice himself for the peace of world that grant his sister wish. 

While Queens are C.C. and Nunnally that C.C. while support Lelouch no matter what he want while Nunnally indicate that she only beside Lelouch when they still take the last name of Lamperouge or during the first series.

Bishops are based on both Britannia and Black Knight Nightmare frame developer Lloyd (Lancelot) and Rakshata (Guren). For bishops chess design there are some tiny rod support that added to support the lab coat, can be remove easily but need some sanding for perfect aesthetic.

Rook or castle is base on the Damocles as it is the most powerful floating sky fortress. Since it been possessed by both side that by Prince Schneizel under the resistance force that fight the Britannian Empire that led by Lelouch, but later on Lelouch take control of it afterward with the power of Geass.

Knights no doubt are the top Knightmare frame pilots from both side Suzaku and Kallen with their Knightmare Lancelot and Guren show at the base of the chess.

Pawns are the soldier from both Britannian and The Black Knights with their standard Knightmare frame Sutherland and Akatsuki at the chess base.
