This product is a guide attachment for your ceiling fan pull-chain. 

Simply unscrew the knob on the base of the ceiling fan, slide the chain guide all the way up until it is flush with the ceiling fan base, then slide the knob back on and hand tighten until secure. That's it, installation complete!
