Tripod — Light Takes Shape

Born from a file, growing layer by layer, becoming an object. Tripod is a table lamp entirely modeled and 3D printed, where every choice — from material to structure — is the result of a conscious and artisanal creative process.

The base and legs are printed in PETG, a material chosen for its strength and dimensional stability, with 3 wall layers and 15% infill — enough to ensure structural solidity, enough void to reduce weight and material to the bare minimum. The components were printed separately and assembled by hand, glued with cyanoacrylate adhesive and held in place with zip ties during curing: a simple, direct, almost ritual process.

The cylindrical lampshade is instead printed in PLA traslucid with just 2 wall layers, a technical choice that becomes an aesthetic one: the thin wall allows light to filter through in a soft and diffused way, turning the cylinder into a glowing lantern.

The beating heart of the lamp is the LED Lamp Kit 001 RGB: a system that lets you choose the color of the light — and with it the entire atmosphere of the space — from cool white to deep red, from midnight blue to dreamy violet.

Tripod is not just a lamp. It is proof that with a 3D printer, a little glue, and a clear idea, you can build something beautiful from scratch.
