Whenever I am fortunate enough to have a whole day to myself where I can lock in and work on my outstanding tasks, I enjoy making a checklist at the beginning of the day. That I find serves multiple functions. One being to ensure you remember everything you need to do and what is left, as well as providing the satisfaction of checking things off that my ADHD brain enjoys.

That is where this comes in. Inspired by the Kanban board layout and actions performed in project task organization programs like Jira and Trello, this is a physical version which can similarly be modified according to individual needs. Each column represents a stage of completion and, using the writeable task chips, you can lay out all of your tasks for a day and insert them into their own rows from the left side. You get the satisfying, tactile sensation by sliding them along the horizontal channels to their appropriate status. And at the end of the day when you have (hopefully) moved all of your chips into FINISHED, you can slide them out and toss or erase for reuse.

The modular columns include the basic ones like NOT STARTED, IN PROGRESS and FINISHED, but different people and teams may have other steps which is why there are others which can be swapped in as needed. These additional ones are:

ON HOLD (cannot make anymore progress until someone else gets back to you with something)

FOR REVIEW (by the team or someone else. Often for quality checks or proofreading before considered finished)

TESTING (product of task currently being tested in some way)

Assemble your board using the triangular pins. NOT STARTED always goes first, so start there since that is the only one with no full passthrough for the pin. When assembling the LEGEND, slide your task type chips in before both end pieces are put on. That will lock them in place.
