Customization in Bambu Studio

The hexagon modules are designed as groups of objects in Bambu Studio, allowing you to easily customize the shelf before printing. By simply deleting specific objects, you can enable or disable certain features depending on how you want to assemble the wall.

Module-level options

• Individual screw holes can be removed if you do not want wall mounting points on a specific module.
• Top alignment pins can be removed when a module sits at the top of the structure and does not need to connect to another hexagon above.

Two additional profiles (7-hexagon module and 14-hexagon module) are provided and are fully configurable using the same system.

Hexagon-level options

Each individual hexagon contains optional elements that can be removed:

• MOUNT L / MOUNT R – screw holes for fixing the hexagon to the wall
• PIN – alignment pins on the top side used to connect to the hexagon above
• HOLE – alignment holes on the bottom side that receive the pins from the hexagon below
• BENCHY – recessed pocket for placing a Benchy (flat by default in this profile)

This object-based system makes it easy to adapt the shelf to your wall layout and mounting preferences directly inside Bambu Studio.
