3D model Stackable & Efficient Parallel Clamp Corner Block by NunchaGun on MakerWorld

Description

This model is my take on the classic parallel clamp corner block, inspired by existing MakerWorld designs (1) (2). Parallel clamp corner blocks allow you to hold clamps at 90° during glue-ups, making it easier to keep frames, boxes, doors, and other assemblies square while applying even pressure.

While many existing designs work well, I wanted to improve a few aspects specifically for 3D printing efficiency and workshop practicality.

Design Goals

1. Stackable storage
The blocks feature a stackable design, allowing multiple pieces to nest together. This keeps your workspace organized and reduces storage space in the shop.

2. Material efficiency
The geometry is optimized to minimize filament usage while maintaining rigidity. Carefully placed cutouts remove unnecessary material without weakening the areas that experience the most weight.

3. Structural strength
Instead of relying on a fully solid block, the design distributes material where it matters most. Reinforced contact surfaces and internal ribs help maintain strength and stability during clamping.

4. Support-free printing
The model is designed to print without supports, making it easy and reliable to produce on most FDM printers while saving both print time and post-processing effort.
