Raspberry Pi 5 + 5” Touch Display Compact Enclosure
This adjustable enclosure is designed to neatly house a Raspberry Pi 5 together with the official 5” Raspberry Pi Touch Display, creating a compact and clean all-in-one unit. The goal of this design was to keep the footprint as small as possible while still leaving the GPIO pinout accessible for projects.
For this model you need, M2.5 screws, 2x 20mm and 4x 8mm. 2x M2.5 NUT.
Features
- Compact enclosure for Raspberry Pi 5 + 5" Touch Display
- Open GPIO pin access so you can still connect sensors, HAT wires, or debugging cables
- Minimal footprint design to keep your setup tidy
- Mounting support for aluminium extrusions with 2× 5 mm mounting holes
- Simple print with no complicated assembly
Notes
- To keep the enclosure compact, the display ribbon cable runs over the Raspberry Pi power button, which unfortunately makes the button inaccessible once assembled.
- If you want to mount it to a frame or different hardware, the 5 mm mounting holes can easily be resized in your slicer to fit other screw sizes.
Mounting
The back includes two 5 mm holes, making it compatible with many aluminium extrusion systems (such as 2020/2040 profiles). Just slide in T-nuts and mount directly to your frame.
Printing
- Prints well in PLA, PETG, or ABS
- No supports required (depending on orientation)
- 0.16 mm layer height recommended with 0.2 fuzzy skin point distance and 0.1 thickness. (not in the attached sliced file)
Assembly
- Insert the Raspberry Pi 5.
- Connect the touch display ribbon cable.
- Mount the 5" display to the enclosure.
- Route the cable (note it will cover the power button).
- Secure everything with screws.
