This is meant to stop the ratchet strap from damaging whatever you are strapping down. The unique features of this one is that it's made of TPU but has the strap holders made out of PETG. The holders are there to stops it from falling of the strap while tightening, but another great use that I found with them is that they can hold the remaining part of the strap from flopping in the wind.

There are some standard dimensions ready for printing where dimensions are specified in the print profile name but it's also customizable with MakerWorld's customize feature which means you can adjust it to whichever size you need with the following parameters.

Available Parameters:

• StrapWidth - Width of the ratchet strap.
• Diameter - Not the most intuitive naming but this is the circle diameter that corner is based on. Larger size means longer end parts.

To start the tool press the “Customize” button on the MakerWorld website.

Assembly instructions

The assembly is basically just one step.

1. Push the two strap holders down into the protector part like this.
   

2. Done!

   

Print instructions

After customizing and importing the file into Bambu Studio you have to split the parts, clone the strap holder and move them to a separate plate. Here is some images showing how to split and clone.

1. Right click and select “Split → To objects”

   

2.  Move the strap holder to a new plate.

3. Right click the strap holder and select “Clone”

   

4. Now select your TPU filament for the protector part and PETG or similar for the strap holder.
5. Print it and assemble.
