๐ Description

Whether you want a unique seasonal centerpiece or just want to test your printer's bridging and your own patience, this nested model is a highly rewarding display piece.
ย
โจ Perfect for:
- Seasonal Decor: Makes a great modern centerpiece for Easter or a unique ornament for your living room.
- Showcase Piece: The intricate "lace-like" structure catches the light beautifully, especially if printed in Silk or translucent filaments.
- The Maker Challenge: A great project for 3D printing enthusiasts who enjoy detailed post-processing and geometric designs.
โ๏ธ Print Settings & Post-Processing (Recommendations)
- Material: PLA or PETG. (Matte PLA highlights the geometry, while Silk PLA gives it a premium, shiny look).
- Layer Height: 0.16mm to 0.20mm.
- Walls: 3 walls to ensure the thin Voronoi branches are strong enough during support removal.
- Supports: REQUIRED. Both internal and external supports are needed to sustain the nested structure. Organic/Tree supports are recommended.
- โ ๏ธ Crucial Post-Processing Tip: Clearing the support material from between the inner and outer shells will take time and patience. You must use a good pair of precision tweezers to carefully grip and pull the supports through the outer lattice holes. It is a tedious process, but properly revealing the inner egg is absolutely worth the effort!
