HexaCore Grid System – Base Panel (9-Point Mount)

The HexaCore Grid System is a modular wall organization platform designed for workshops, offices and creative spaces.

This base panel forms the structural foundation of the system and allows mounting of storage boxes, tool holders and custom modules.

The design uses a 9-point mounting layout to improve rigidity and distribute loads evenly across the wall.

This is not just a concept model – the system is currently installed in a real workshop with 54 panels in daily use on 3 different walls.

Recommended material: PETG
PLA works for lighter applications.

Recommended print settings:

Walls: 3-4
Infill: 10–15 %

Mounting suggestion:
4 mm countersunk screws (e.g. SPAX).

Load & Stability

With proper wall mounting, the system supports storage modules with loads of 6 kg and more per box (tested with 50 mm wide boxes at 120 mm depth).

For best results, use multiple mounting points and a solid wall surface.

HexaCore is designed as a growing modular ecosystem.

You are welcome to design and publish your own compatible modules, adapters and holders.

This model is part of the HexaCore Grid System and is released under
the MakerWorld Exclusive License.

You may download, print and use the model for personal purposes.
