GridCraft – Pit Set

A small set of pits designed to add environmental hazards and terrain variation to GridCraft maps.

These props can represent dangerous pits, graves, small ponds or a magical portal depending on the chosen filament color.

The simple layered design allows easy customization of the bottom surface, making the same model useful for multiple gameplay situations.

The grey color represents the stone edge surrounding the pit.

The black color represents the bottom surface of the pit.

The color change happens at a layer height, allowing easy manual filament swap during printing.

The geometry is intentionally simple and reinterpret-able.
Color and context define the meaning:

• A dark recess becomes a pit or pond
• Dirt becomes soil or decay
• A crate flipped over becomes open
• A bedroll elevated becomes a proper bed

Every piece is designed to print quickly, cleanly, and without supports — while leaving room for creativity at the table.
